Job Summary:
We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our U.S. and international engineering teams in the design and development of steel frame adventure courses and adventure products. The ideal candidate will bring 5–10 years of engineering leadership experience, combining technical expertise with proven skills in team management and project delivery. This role is responsible for guiding projects from concept through completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards, client requirements, and company objectives. The Engineering Manager will also mentor engineers, foster innovation, and drive efficient collaboration across global teams.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers to achieve individual and departmental goals.
Oversee the design and engineering of steel frame adventure courses and adventure products from concept to completion.
Review and approve detailed shop drawings, weldment prints, and 3D models.
Ensure designs adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
Collaborate with production, manufacturing, and installation teams to optimize manufacturability, quality, and efficiency.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet company objectives.
Conduct and oversee structural analysis, calculations, and validation of designs.
Implement and maintain best practices in design documentation, revision control, and engineering processes.
Drive continuous improvement in design methods, tools, and team performance.
Serve as a key liaison between engineering and other departments, as well as with clients when technical expertise is required.
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and safety standards relevant to structural engineering and adventure attractions.

Knowledge/Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of engineering experience in structural or mechanical design.
5-10 years of leadership experience managing engineering departments and supervising engineering teams.
Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor for 2D and 3D modeling, and Autodesk robot is preferred.
Strong knowledge of welding practices, materials, and fabrication processes.
Experience with structural analysis, load calculations, and foundation design.
Familiarity with ASTM standards and safety requirements for adventure structures preferred.
Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills.
Strong project management abilities with proven success in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
High attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to innovation.
Ability to travel overseas several times a year to support projects and clients.
Flexibility to work extended days as needed due to cross-time-zone collaboration.
