Machine Electrician bei Coe Press Equipment

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

• Love to get their hands dirty, be known as a “gearhead”,
• Be able to prioritize and complete tasks to meet assigned deadlines,
• Be a self-starter, able to complete tasks using their knowledge and skill,
• Work as part of a team with other assemblers, electricians and engineers to meet build requirements

THE MACHINE ELECTRICIAN WILL:

• Install electrical wiring and assemble components according to blueprints and electrical diagrams.
• Assemble electrical panels according to wiring specifications.
• Drill and tap holes in specified locations for mounting control units using and tools, drill press and other applicable tools.
• Wire motors, prox switches, and sensors to the machine according to prints.
• Attach breakers, relays, contactors, bus bars, transformers, insulators, regulator cabinets, meters, plugging devices and fuse blocks to mounting holes with bolts and screws using wrenches, screwdrivers, and nut runners.
• Cut, strip, bend and form wireable conduit pipe and tubing used to connect circuits and sub-assemblies.
• Connect color coded wires, solder connectors and crimp to wire ends.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma
• 3-5 years wiring industrial equipment and/or equipment panels
• Ability to read blueprints
• Own tools needed for assembly
