Responsibilities:- To work with internal stakeholders to review and process sign permit applications to multiple jurisdictions
- Examining plans and blueprints for accuracy and compliance with building codes.
- Calculating permit fees.
- Maintaining records of permit applications, inspections, and related documentation for internal stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with sign codes and relevant ordinances.
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as data entry, correspondence, and report preparation for internal stakeholders
- Coordinating with other departments and agencies as needed.
- Knowledge of Building Codes: Understanding of relevant building codes and ordinances related to signage.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and blueprints.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the municipalities and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using computer systems such as Microsoft, Excel, and ERP systems
- Ability to identify and resolve issues related to permit applications.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, such as fee calculations.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is generally required.
- Experience in a similar role or with building codes is preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old.
