As an Insurance Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to generate new business by connecting with potential clients, assessing their needs, and selling them the most suitable insurance products. You will also build and maintain lasting relationships with existing clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction.
- Generate and Manage Leads: Actively seek new clients through networking, referrals, and following up on exclusive warm leads provided by the company.
- Conduct Needs Analysis: Interview prospective clients to understand their financial situations, risks, and goals to recommend appropriate coverage options.
- Explain and Sell Policies: Present and explain the features, terms, and benefits of various insurance policies, including auto, home, life, and commercial.
- Process Applications: Complete all necessary paperwork and applications accurately and efficiently to bind new policies.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, assisting with renewals, policy changes, and the claims process.
- Meet Sales Targets: Strive to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
- Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with market trends, product changes, and state regulations to provide expert advice
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in a sales or customer service role is preferred, though not always required.
- Licensing: A valid state insurance license is required. We will provide comprehensive paid training and support for unlicensed candidates to help you pass the state exam.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and interpersonal communication skills to build rapport and explain complex information clearly.
- Drive for Results: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient, with a strong work ethic.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage a pipeline of clients and follow-ups.
