As our Regional Controller, you'll be the financial heartbeat of our regional operations. You'll work alongside passionate teams, lead critical meetings, and ensure our financial foundation is rock-solid. What you'll own: 

Financial Leadership & Strategy

• Serve as the regional financial expert, preparing monthly financial statements that tell our performance story
• Lead quarterly forecasting and annual budget planning that shapes our regional direction
• Transform WIP schedules from routine reports into strategic planning tools

Operational Excellence

• Master the art of month-end and year-end closings with precision and efficiency
• Review and analyze GL reconciliations to ensure accuracy across all accounts
• Partner with auditors to ensure smooth, successful audit processes

Collaborative Impact

• Lead monthly regional meetings where your insights drive decision-making
• Participate in project review meetings, bringing financial perspective to operational discussions
• Build strong relationships across departments, becoming a trusted financial advisor to your colleagues

Special Projects

• Take ownership of high-impact initiatives that improve our financial processes
• Implement new systems and procedures that enhance efficiency across the region

What makes you our ideal candidate?

The Must-Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting
• CPA license (active and in good standing)
• 2+ years in public accounting (assurance services) OR 2-5 years in a similar accounting role within construction
• Excel expertise that goes beyond basic formulas – you make spreadsheets sing

• Construction industry experience (huge plus!)
• A knack for autonomous problem-solving – you see issues and resolve them before they escalate
• Communication skills that translate complex financial concepts into language everyone understands
