Pharmacy Assistant bei Burlington Emergency & Veterinary Specialists

Burlington Emergency & Veterinary Specialists is seeking to add a Pharmacy Assistant to our hospital team.

This position is primarily responsible for filling and confirming prescriptions, running laboratory tests, performing routine equipment maintenance, and working closely with the Facilities and Inventory Manager to ensure proper inventory handling and control. 

Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently around a fast-paced environment. Full-time is preferred, but options may be available for part time work in this role. Weekend availability is required.

This role is perfect for an animal lover who already enjoys pharmacy and lab work, a student or recent graduate looking to get some exposure to veterinary medicine, or anyone who is interested in working a position that supports and helps the pets and pet lovers of Vermont without direct animal care involved. Options may be available for cross training in animal care if desired.
