Therapeutic Mentor Hiring Event bei Center for Human Development (CHD)

Center for Human Development, (CHD), will be hosting a hiring event on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 10am-1pm. We are seeking Therapeutic Mentors for our Children’s behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI) program. Therapeutic Mentors provide one-on-one support and guidance to youth with emotional or behavioral health challenges, working with them in their daily environments to help them build social, communication, and life skills. Under the supervision of licensed clinicians, the Therapeutic Mentor will collaborate with families and treatment teams to help youth implement strategies from their treatment plans, fostering resilience and independence by bridging the gap between therapy and real-world application.

Locations include:  West Springfield, Greenfield and Ware, MA. With outreach in surrounding communities. 

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s or better in Psychology or related field highly preferred.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant direct service experience working with youth and families who require behavior management.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Travel is required for outreach, mileage reimbursement is offered.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Pay rate starts at $26.00/hourly. This is a full-time opportunity. The ideal candidate must have flexible availability to meet the scheduling needs of those served. (after school hours and weekends).
