Our organization has been providing mental health care to patients throughout NYC for the past 60 years.  We have numerous programs throughout the five burroughs but are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to work at our location in Midtown Manhattan.  As the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you would join a team of prescribers and clinicians treating patients with various types of mental health ailments.  We primarily serve adults ages 30- 60 years of age.  This position will be 3 days a week.  Please see job highlights below for more details.

Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY

Salary: $100/hour

Responsibilities:

Responsible for performing psychiatric evaluations and medication management

Working with patients that are diagnosed with Schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, and various others

Documenting notes in EMR system FootHold

Working closely with Psychiatrists and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners on staff

Interacting with social workers and clinicians when necessary

Participating in meetings via zoom when applicable

Requirements:

Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Graduate of accredited Masters Degree of Nursing Program (PMHNP)

Preferred 1 year PMHNP experience

DEA license

New York State PMHNP license
