We are seeking a Talent Sourcer based in India to support sourcing efforts for North America teams and positions. This role will partner closely with the North America Talent Acquisition (TA) Leader and TA Partners to identify, attract, and engage top talent through diverse sourcing channels such as job boards, social media, professional networks, and market research. The Sourcer will develop and maintain strong talent pipelines, conduct initial screenings to assess qualifications and fit and provide regular updates on progress and challenges.
In addition, this role will scale responsibilities based on business needs and, at the direction of the TA NA Leader, provide sourcing support to the India TA team. Success in this role requires adaptability, strong stakeholder collaboration, and a proactive approach to meeting evolving hiring priorities.
Job Responsibilities / Essential Functions
- Source qualified candidates for North America positions using online tools, social media platforms, professional networks, and other creative sourcing channels.
- Excellent sourcing skills using online tools and social media platforms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Build trust and mutual understanding with both business and HR counterparts, delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction through the fulfillment of commitments.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in candidate assessment.
- Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and candidate management tools.
- Understanding of basic HR and recruiting principles.
- Proactive and self-motivated approach to sourcing.
- Proven track record of meeting sourcing targets and delivering high-quality candidates.
- Provide sourcing support to the India TA team when directed by the TA NA Leader.
- Analyze sourcing metrics, market trends, and talent availability to inform sourcing strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Deliver regular updates to the TA team on sourcing progress, challenges, and competitive insights.
- Understanding of basic HR and recruiting principles.
- Proactive and self-motivated approach to sourcing.
- Proven track record of meeting sourcing targets and delivering high-quality candidates.
Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in recruiting or sourcing in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proven experience sourcing talent for international or cross-regional hiring, preferably supporting North America markets.
- Proficiency in using online tools, job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks to identify and attract potential candidates.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers.
- Ability to screen resumes and conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidate qualifications and fit for open positions.
- Capacity to work collaboratively with recruiters and hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop sourcing strategies.
- Knowledge of candidate databases and applicant tracking systems (ATS) to maintain candidate records and ensure data accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in evaluating candidate profiles and assessing their suitability for specific roles.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet sourcing goals and deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to shifting priorities and scale efforts to support multiple teams.
- Proven track record of meeting sourcing targets and delivering high-quality candidates to support organizational hiring needs.
- High level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality
