We are seeking a talented individual to join our Injury Management team at Recovre, part of Marsh McLennan Australia. This role will be based in New South Wales. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office or on-site. The Injury Management Consultant will deliver injury management, early intervention and case management services for a leading manufacturing client, working on-site as the in-house Injury Manager and collaborating with treating practitioners, site supervisors and the Employer Claims Team to achieve safe and sustainable return to work outcomes.
We will count on you to:
- Build trust with clients and stakeholders and maintain collaborative partnerships with site supervisors, the Employer Claims Team and injured workers
- Act as the in-house Injury Manager on-site for a leading manufacturing client, travelling to client sites and working flexibly from home
- Oversee a portfolio of 45–50 non-billable cases, managing case notes, reporting and database maintenance
- Provide injury management and early intervention, obtaining relevant information from workers, employers and treating practitioners and facilitating medical consultations, case conferences and teleconferences
- Develop and implement specific return to work (RTW) plans, drive claims through liaison with treating parties and proactively participate in claims reviews and injury management meetings
What you need to have:
- Allied health qualification as an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, Rehabilitation Counsellor, Provisional or Registered Psychologist, Social Worker, Chiropractor, Osteopath or Registered Nurse OR substantial case management/return to work experience
- Demonstrated experience in case management and RTW planning with resilience, time efficiency and adaptability
- Current right to work in Australia and ability to travel to client sites across New South Wales
