An experienced automotive service advisor acts as the crucial link between customers and service technicians, providing exceptional customer service by listening to vehicle issues, diagnosing problems, and translating technical information into clear recommendations. This role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills to manage customer expectations, coordinate repair schedules, and ensure accurate documentation and billing. Key duties include greeting customers, assessing vehicle needs, creating estimates, working with technicians, maintaining service records, and handling complaints. 

The ideal candidate for this position has 2+ years of experience as a service advisor in the automotive industry.  He or she must be willing to obtain certifications, has an unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record, and has a strong technical and customer service performance record.  Fluent English speaking and written communication skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
