Position Responsibilities:

• Takes on special cleaning tasks and completes them thoroughly and promptly, meeting hospital and departmental standards.
• Demonstrates skills in caring for hard surface floors and carpets, including dusting, damp mopping, and buffing, as observed.
• Collects waste and soiled linens hospital-wide and manages biomedical waste following Infection Control policies and procedures.
• Cleans service corridors, waiting areas, stairwells, and other designated spaces.

• Demonstrates knowledge of correct use and appropriate dilution of chemicals. Responsible for economical use of supply as controlled through distribution.

   

Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning/maintenance work experience preferred.
• High School or GED preferred.
