Sportsbook Shift Supervisor - MGM Springfield bei Mgmresorts

As a Sportsbook Shift Supervisor, you'll be at the forefront of creating an exciting and compliant sports betting experience, taking charge of daily operations, guiding your team with strong leadership, and ensuring adherence to all guidelines and policies. Your meticulous attention to detail will be essential in delivering exceptional service and maintaining a responsible betting atmosphere, especially during busy shifts or in the absence of the Shift Manager. STARTING RATE: $24.00 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Assist, train and lead Race and Sports Mutuel Clerks
• Approve complimentary items for guests and over-the-limit wagers for the property
• Close out writers at the end of the shift and ensure money has been transferred to the main cage
• Move and monitor betting lines
• Explain betting lines and odds to customers
• Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department
• Issue disciplinary action when requested by Sports Book Manager/Director

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Has High School Diploma or GED
• Has 2+ years of prior relevant experience in resort setting
• Working knowledge of gaming regulations and compliance with Title 31, Regulation 22, and IRS Forms
