PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Amentum, a global leader in critical mission support, engineering, technology, and national security solutions, is seeking a Warehouse Specialist at Tinker, AFB. The incumbent performs a variety of warehousing duties requiring utilization of the government’s automated work management system.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Verifies materials against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, processes “receiving” in the government’s automated work program, and routes hard copy documentation to appropriate departments.
- Routes materials to prescribed storage locations, storing, stacking, or palletizedmaterials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, ensuring locations are accurately noted in the government’s automated work management system.
- Drives company vehicles in order to pick-up materials as well as deliver contract deliverables to correct agencies, materials, and tools to worksites as well as obtaining correct signatures on vendor invoices and Purchase Orders (POs).
- Maintains inventory of stored material to identify discrepancies, etc. as directed.
- Relocates material from storage and processes documentation in the government’s automated work management system, by obtaining all pertinent information from requestor and routing hard copy documentation to the appropriate department.
- Operates forklifts.
- Interfaces with customers and responsible for customer feedback, as applicable.
- Operates motor vehicles in accordance with company vehicle policies.
- Complies with applicable federal, state, United States Air Force (USAF) and Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) environmental laws and regulations.
- Completes health and safety rules and procedures; performs work in a manner that enhances the safety of the work environment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Accurate, timely, and cost-effective performance of duties.

- Maintaining strict confidentiality of all company and program related matters.
- Accountable for assigned tools, materials and equipment.
- Cleanliness and safety of shop and work areas.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location
- High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
- Current state driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of valid insurance
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Minimum 2 years’ supply and/or warehouse experience
- Minimum 2 years’ Forklift experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licenses/IDs/certifications
- Ability to solve problems and work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to adapt to changes in technology
- Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional & courteous manner in diverse situations.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Military experience.
- Previous experience working on military installation.
- Experience working on Tinker facilities.
