Entry Level Facilities Maintenance Technician
Vadnais Heights, MN
1st Shift: 7am-3:30pm Monday - Friday (Occasional Overtime/Weekends)
Pay: $25-$30/hr depending on experience
Position Overview
Join H.B. Fuller’s Willow Lake campus as an Entry Level Facilities & Maintenance Technician, where you’ll support daily operations and learn the fundamentals of building systems. This hands-on role offers training and experience in a collaborative technical environment. You’ll help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workplace while growing your skills in facilities maintenance.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform basic tasks: filter changes, light bulb replacements, and equipment cleaning
Support workspace organization and minor repairs
Assist technicians with preventive maintenance and repairs
Report facility issues (e.g., leaks, temperature changes)
Maintain mechanical rooms and supply areas
Follow safety protocols and wear PPE
Set up work areas for contractors/vendors
Track inventory and restock supplies
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED
0–3 years of related experience (internships/part-time welcome)
Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn
Ability to follow instructions and work safely
Willingness to obtain MN State Special Boiler License
Preferred Requirements
Vocational training in HVAC, electrical, or building maintenance
Familiarity with hand tools and basic repairs
Exposure to safety practices (e.g., Lockout-Tagout)
Interest in long-term facilities career
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $25 - $30/hr.In addition to your salary, H.B.
