About the Department

This is progressively responsible and difficult work in the large scale purchase of a wide range of materials, supplies and equipment.

Position Duties

Minimum Qualification Requirements
Completion of two years of college level courses in purchasing, accounting, business or public administration and a minimum of three years experience as a buyer involving the procurement of a variety of supplies, materials, equipment and services at the level of a Buyer I; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.

Special Requirement
May be required to possess a valid driver's license from state of residence.
