CTG is seeking to fill a Project Manager opening for our client in NYC, NY.

 

Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 6 months

 

Duties:

  • Lead project teams in delivering transformational initiatives within the Financial Services sector.

  • Manage project scope, cost, schedule, and deliverables in alignment with the project charter or contract.

  • Oversee project planning activities including project plan development, budgeting, staffing, and scheduling.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure objectives are clearly defined, tracked, and achieved.

  • Provide risk management oversight, ensuring compliance with standards and mitigating issues proactively.

  • Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams and external partners.

  • Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with proven ability to manage complex projects.

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).

  • Ability to develop and manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of financial services sectors and solutions such as Risk & Compliance, Blockchain, Banking, Capital Markets, Retail Banking, Core Insurance, BPM, or Decision Engines.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience managing projects within Financial Services.

  • Demonstrated success in leading large, complex, and multi-stakeholder projects.

  • Experience delivering technology-enabled solutions in at least one of the following areas: Risk & Compliance, Blockchain, Banking, Capital Markets, Retail Banking, Core Insurance, BPM, or Decision Engines.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
