You’ll manage the full project lifecycle — from feasibility and planning through to execution, commissioning, and handover — ensuring every project delivers real business value while meeting our safety, quality, cost, and time objectives.
Alongside delivering projects, you’ll develop and lead a high-performing project team, building capability through structured training and succession planning.

What are we looking for?

We need a proven project leader who can inspire teams, manage complexity, and deliver results in a manufacturing environment. You will have:

  • APMP Certificate in Project Management (or equivalent) and NEBOSH General Certificate (essential).

  • Proven experience delivering industrial projects >£500k on time, within budget, and to high safety and quality standards.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, from shopfloor to Board level.

  • Degree in Engineering (BEng Hons or equivalent).

  • Tenacious, innovative, and motivational leadership qualities.

Desirable: NEBOSH Construction Certificate, food industry experience, Continuous Improvement qualifications (e.g. Yellow Belt).

Key Accountabilities include:

  • Provide health and safety (H&S) leadership for the project team, and assume responsibility for all aspects of H&S associated with the project(s).

  • Deliver a portfolio of capital and transformation projects (£500k–£10m) safely, on schedule, to budget, and to agreed quality standards.

  • Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team including engineers, administrators, and contractors.

  • Apply robust project governance, risk management, and reporting through our stage-gate process.

  • Own and manage project business cases aligned with site strategic plans.

  • Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and drive business value.
