Role OverviewWe're looking for a skilled and proactive Functional Testing Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our quality assurance team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products, including features that incorporate Artificial Intelligence. You will be responsible for comprehensive functional testing, test case management, and collaborating closely with development teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. While your primary focus will be functional testing, an awareness of and interest in how AI impacts testing will be highly valued.Key ResponsibilitiesRequirements Validation: Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Business Analysts to review and validate product requirements, specifications, and design documents, ensuring clarity and testability from an early stage.Test Case Development: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive and detailed test cases (manual and exploratory) based on functional, non-functional, and user experience requirements.Functional & Exploratory Testing: Perform thorough functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing across various platforms, browsers, and devices.Test Prioritization & Execution: Prioritize test cases based on risk, impact, and business criticality to optimize testing efforts and ensure efficient release cycles.Test Suite Optimization: Contribute to the continuous optimization and refinement of existing test suites, identifying opportunities for consolidation and efficiency gains.LLM/AI Feature Testing: Conduct functional and user experience testing specifically for features that integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and other AI/ML components, validating their outputs, behavior, and overall user interaction.Internationalization (i18n) Testing: Perform functional testing to ensure the application correctly handles multiple languages, locales, and cultural conventions.Reporting & Triage: Accurately report, track, and manage defects through their lifecycle in a bug tracking system. Collaborate with development teams for effective defect triage and timely resolution.Crowd Testing Participation: Participate in and provide constructive feedback for crowd testing initiatives, analyzing the results to gain diverse user perspectives and identify critical issues.User Feedback & Quality Insights: Analyze user feedback, support tickets, and other data sources to identify quality trends and contribute to insights regarding product quality and user sentiment.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of hands-on experience in functional testing of web, mobile, or desktop applications.Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) principles.Proven ability to design, write, and execute effective test cases from requirements.Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail) and bug tracking systems.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.A keen interest in and basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning concepts, particularly how they apply to software features.Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)Experience with basic SQL queries for backend data validation.Familiarity with API testing concepts (e.g., using Postman).Any exposure to automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) is a plus.Experience testing applications with internationalization features.Understanding of user experience (UX) principles in testing.What We OfferCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Opportunity to work on innovative products with AI integration.A collaborative, supportive, and dynamic work environment.Opportunities for professional growth and skill development.Modern office facilities in Bengaluru.Health, wellness, and retirement benefits.3 must havesFunctional Testing 4/5AI 3/5SQL 3/5 Jetzt bewerben
