Role Description
Data is a key asset to Allica and is deeply embedded in all our teams and products. With data, we assist and work with Finance, Operations, Credit Risk, Product and management. We are looking for ambitious and curious people who can help us understand our data better, contribute to facilitating the discussions between engineering and the data stakeholders and have an impact on the business by telling stories around the insights they generate. competent and detail oriented analytics engineer who will lead reporting reconciliations and insights building. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, delivery focussed, data-driven and can execute end to end initiatives by themselves.
Principal Accountabilities
• Leading on Growth Analytics, you will enable the growth team to make better decisions faster
• You'll work as part of a cross-functional team alongside growth managers, product owners, engineers, and distribution. In this role, you will apply your expertise to drive what and how we build within the growth squad, leveraging data and cutting-edge technology to transform our customer journey
• This transformation will directly impact our customers' experience as well as the organization's goals.
• Your responsibilities will include designing, building, and maintaining KPIs for the growth squad, building out the data engineering scope and working with data engineers to enable the growth squad to take data driven decisions.
• Additionally, you will be responsible for generating insights and actions based on prospect and customer data, informing customer acquisition and activation strategies.
• Support the growth squad to deliver on our customer acquisition goals at target CAC
• Define key product metrics and track KPIs to analyse what really matters
• Understand prospect and customer behaviour and identify levers to help move key metrics
• Help conduct regular A/B tests across the customer journey
• Together with engineers productionise data collection, transformation and storage
• Build information feedback loops and inform decision making of stakeholders in the business
• Build out a growth product playbook and a campaign analysis framework
Personal Attributes & Experience
• A bachelor's degree in a STEM major (mathematics, computer science, engineering)
• Excellent knowledge of data science (python, SQL) and production tools
• Good working knowledge of AI tools to automate and create new solutions.
• A deep understanding of probability and statistics fundamentals
• Evidence of a bias towards execution, and a proven track record of delivering to results
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an affinity for breaking complex and broad problems down in a logical and structured manner
• Strong data analysis skills and comfortable working with large volumes of data to spot patterns and trends, and to prioritise accordingly.
• Previous experience owning customer acquisition ideally in a high-growth environment.
• Can communicate clearly and succinctly.
• Works quickly, without compromising on quality, and has high attention to detail.
• Driven, ambitious and have a strong sense of will-to-win - looking to grow fast and learn quickly within a rapidly scaling organisation.
• Have a track record of being a top performer in several areas, through your career.
