Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Developer with strong expertise in SQL to join our Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and maintaining data solutions on the Snowflake Data Cloud, delivering high-performance data pipelines, and supporting business intelligence solutions. You will collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and Business stakeholders to build scalable and efficient data solutions.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines using Snowflake and SQL.
Build and maintain data models, views, and stored procedures to support reporting and analytics.
Perform data integration from various sources (structured and unstructured data).
Write efficient and optimized SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Monitor data pipelines for performance and troubleshoot data issues.
Implement best practices for Snowflake architecture, security, and performance optimization.
Assist in automating data workflows using tools such as Airflow, dbt, or similar.
Work with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to enable data visualization and reporting.
Document technical designs and processes.
4+ years of hands-on experience in SQL development for data warehousing and analytics.
Strong experience working with Snowflake Data Cloud, including schema design, performance optimization, and security configurations.
Experience in developing and managing ETL/ELT processes.
Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations.
Good understanding of data modeling concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
Experience with data integration tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica, Fivetran, Matillion, or custom solutions).
Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills to work effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
