- Define and enforce engineering standards and compliance frameworks to ensure all asset management activities meet WHS, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement by conducting asset and component benchmarking to reduce total cost of ownership (TCO) and maximise operational equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Support data-driven decision making by collaborating with site and group teams to develop maintenance budgets and capital equipment plans (CEPs), including lifecycle costing and options analysis.
- Foster strong partnerships with site maintenance and engineering teams to enhance asset performance, support improvement initiatives, and contribute to the ongoing maturity of WHC’s asset management capabilities.
What You Will Bring:
- Relevant qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mining or similar) or a trades background with 5+ years of site-based experience in maintenance or reliability functions.
- Proven experience in mining, heavy industry, or with HME OEMs, with a strong foundation in asset management, reliability engineering, maintenance budgeting, and life cycle costing (LCC).
- Solid understanding of asset lifecycle principles, including Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Whole of Life (WoL), and Estimated/Average Unit Costs (EAC/EUC), with the ability to apply these in strategic decision-making.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and deliver innovative, practical solutions that improve asset performance and reduce costs.
