What does the job entail?

As an Instrumentation and Control Technician, your main responsibilities include:

• Curative and preventive maintenance
• Modification works
• Daily troubleshooting
• Reviewing logging systems

Possible tasks:

• Maintenance of devices that analyze gases and liquids
• Working on weighing equipment, e.g. dosing systems
• Working with and on measurement instruments (pressure, flow, etc.), laser measurement devices, acoustic sensors, radar measurements, image recognition systems, temperature sensors, etc.
• Installing, modernizing, troubleshooting, and recalibrating devices
• Working with and programming PLCs
• Working on visualization systems and communication equipment (e.g. camera installations, radio controls, etc.)
• Working on drive technology
• Making corrections in PLCs
• Programming drives

You work in a day shift. The position requires you to work onsite.

Are you the right candidate?

• You have a technical degree (such as electromechanics, energy technology, design and production technology, chemistry, etc.).
• You can rely on at least three years of relevant experience in an industrial environment.
• You work accurately and have strong problem-solving skills.
• You communicate fluently in English. Moreover, you are willing to follow Dutch courses during working hours and in your spare time.
• Safety is your top priority.
