Your responsibilities
- Proven track record as an excellent negotiator with experience managing significant financial responsibilities.
- Accomplished in creating and implementing wide-reaching procurement strategies.
- Practiced in steering complex sourcing activities and high-level contract negotiations with suppliers.
- Adept at managing currency risks and recognising financial opportunities.
- Proficient in developing comprehensive knowledge of advanced procurement and sourcing tactics.
- Capable of collaborating effectively with Legal departments to ensure contracts are beneficial and secure.
- Experience in leading a team, including mentoring trainees and interns.
The experience we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering;
- Solid background in procurement, especially within commodities in a regional/global context;
- Proven track record in developing and executing strategic procurement with tangible results;
- Practiced in steering complex sourcing activities and high-level contract negotiations with suppliers;
- Adept at managing currency risks and recognising financial opportunities;
- Proficient in developing comprehensive knowledge of advanced procurement and sourcing tactics;
- Keen negotiation skills coupled with the ability to manage contracts and suppliers effectively;
- Analytical approach, able to evaluate market trends to aid in strategic decisions;
- Exceptional communication skills, facilitating collaboration with both internal teams and external partners;
- Capable of collaborating effectively with Legal departments to ensure contracts are beneficial and secure;
- Experience in leading a team.
