In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting employees’ day-to-day experiences, ensuring they have the resources, guidance, and support they need to succeed, while partnering with Safety, Operations, and HR leadership to maintain compliance, engagement, and operational excellence.


What You’ll Do:


Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Support full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and candidate communications.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities, ensuring new hires have a smooth transition and all required documentation is completed.
  • Assist managers with onboarding processes and initial training coordination.

Employee Engagement & Culture Development

  • Help implement recognition, engagement, and cultural programs that reflect company values.
  • Assist in planning and executing town halls, employee events, and service anniversary/birthday recognition.

Performance Management Support

  • Assist in administering performance review processes and goal tracking.
  • Provide support to managers with coaching, performance documentation, and employee development plans.

Compensation & Benefits Administration

  • Support benefits administration, including open enrollment, new hire benefits, and employee inquiries.
  • Help manage payroll processes, retirement plan contributions, and benefits-related recordkeeping.
  • Ensure compliance with ACA and other benefits-related requirements.

Employee Relations & Compliance Support

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns.
  • Support investigations and documentation under the guidance of HR leadership.
  • Assist with compliance tracking, recordkeeping, and ensuring adherence to labor laws, ADA, OSHA, FLSA, EEOC, Title VII, and company policies.

Safety Dept Support

  • Partner with the Safety team to support compliance initiatives and employee safety programs.
  • Assist with training, documentation, and incident reporting.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Quality teams to support safe practices in the manufacturing environment.

Office Management Support

  • Assist with daily office operations, including supplies, visitor support, key card access, and event logistics.
  •  Support coordination of office cleanliness, break room, and employee amenities.

Learning Management System (LMS) Administration

  • Become the primary expert in LMS platform administration, including creating, uploading, and managing new in-house and custom training programs.
  • Assign training to employees and track completion to ensure compliance with HR, Food Quality, and Safety requirements.
  • Pull monthly reports on training progress and completion rates, analyze results, and follow up with employees or managers as needed.
  • Collaborate with managers and HR leadership to identify training gaps, plan follow-ups, and ensure all staff meet regulatory and development requirements.

Documentation & Recordkeeping

  • Maintain accurate records for HR, Safety, and Training documentation.
  • Ensure employee files, onboarding/offboarding records, and compliance documentation are complete and up-to-date.
  • Support audits and reporting requirements under HR leadership.

Requirements

Who You Are


You are a hands-on HR and People & Culture professional who enjoys supporting employees, processes, and day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment. You are organized, proactive, and comfortable navigating a variety of HR, Safety, and operational tasks. You have a strong understanding of compliance, employee relations, and HR best practices and can act as a trusted resource for managers and employees.


Key qualities include:

  • HR Operations & People-Focused: 3–6 years of HR or People & Culture experience, supporting talent management, onboarding, and employee engagement.
  • Compliance Awareness: Familiar with labor laws, OSHA, ADA, FLSA, EEOC, Title VII, and HR-related recordkeeping.
  • Safety Minded:  Comfortable partnering with Safety and Operations to promote safe and compliant practices.
  • Documentation & Detail-Oriented: Maintains accurate records and ensures compliance documentation is complete.
  • Professional & Discreet: Exercises good judgment, maintains confidentiality, and handles sensitive information with integrity.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with HRIS platforms (We use Paylocity), LMS systems (we use Alchemy), Asana or other similar Project Management and standard office software like O365.
  • Values-Driven: Supports a positive, respectful, and collaborative work environment.
  • Natural Brand Ambassador: Actively represent and promote the company’s culture, values, and employer brand both internally and externally
