Job Title: CLM Data Management and Governance, Sr. Manager

Your Role
Digital Realty is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Data Management and Governance, Sr. Manager to work in its Contract Management team, sitting within the global Legal function. This role would play a key role in advancing contract management data initiatives and strengthening the integrity, accuracy, and governance of critical business information. In this role, the CLM Data Management and Governance, Sr. Manager will work closely with stakeholders across the organization, including the Contract Management BPO, Contract Management team, Contract Data Office (CDO) and other stakeholders, to deliver reliable data solutions that support informed decision-making, enhance operational efficiency, and enable strategic growth.
What you’ll do
- Contract Data Governance
- Partner with the different business teams to define and implement data governance frameworks, and quality standards.
- Assist in the development and rollout of minimum viable products (MVPs) for data governance and management.
Support CLM data governance, ensuring data consistency, compliance, and accuracy across systems.
- Monitor and maintain data integrity, identifying and resolving data quality issues with the Contract Management Team.
Contribute to the design and implementation of AI-driven data scraping and automation initiatives to ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely delivery of contract-related data.
Identify opportunities to streamline data processes and implement automation or AI-driven improvements.
Recommend systems, processes, and reporting enhancements to improve data-driven decision-making.
- Legacy Contract Data Readiness
- Lead and support various contract data initiatives, collaborating with internal teams to deliver proof-of-concepts and ensure data readiness for migration efforts.
- Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of the contract data model, accurate data abstraction, and timely delivery of project milestones.
- Contract Data Migrations
- Support contract data mapping and transformation logic, including advising on contract migration from multiple different systems onto one contract management platform to enable system integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect requirements (to ensure understanding of upstream and downstream impacts of any proposed data initiatives), document processes, and ensure effective project delivery.
Oversee data cleansing, enrichment, and validation processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of migrated contract metadata and associated attributes.
- Contract Data Reporting
- Develop, track, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate business and operational performance.
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and models to provide actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis and present clear, data-driven recommendations to support decision-making.
- Standardize and ensure accuracy in reporting across different business units.
- Contract Data Process Rollout
- Partner with business users, technical teams, and leadership to align data initiatives with organizational goals.
- Clearly communicate findings and insights in both technical and non-technical terms.
- Support training and adoption of new data tools, reporting systems, and governance practices.
What you’ll need
Professional Experience of 5+ years, being minimum of 2 years of direct experience with contract and/or financial data
Direct experience with Contract Management activities
Experience driving change through people in a complex global matrix organization
Data management and analytical skills, including preferably the use of AI tools
Experience with data models definition and authoring data dictionaries is desirable
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and SQL
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex data environments
- Must have strong ownership mentality; a self-starter with heightened ability to follow through and build end-to-end data processes with high-quality awareness
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including a proactive disposition towards identifying problems and providing solutions
Ability to work efficiently and seamlessly with virtual teams and flexibility to accommodate time zone differences
- Good process definition and documentation skills
- High curiosity, growth mindset, and learning orientation
- Direct experience with Conga CLM or similar contract lifecycle management systems
Experience in B2B sales and procurement technology organizations
- Knowledge in end-to-end Quote to Cash process
- Experience with data migration projects
- Project management experience
- Familiarity with Jira tool
Ideally, you will also have some of the following:
