Description
AdvancedPCB is seeking a highly organized and technically adept Program Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of customer programs. This role will act as the primary liaison between customers, internal engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure on-time delivery, compliance with technical specs, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts and programs throughout the PCB manufacturing lifecycle.
- Manage and coordinate internal resources to support prototype, quick-turn, and production orders.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and risk assessments to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Review customer technical requirements (Gerber files, stack-ups, impedance requirements, etc.) with engineering and pre-production teams.
- Collaborate with sales, CAM, manufacturing, and quality assurance to resolve issues and provide real-time updates to customers.
- Track and report program metrics including yield, lead time, delivery performance, and quality data.
- Lead cross-functional program reviews and continuous improvement efforts to drive operational excellence.
- Ensure strict adherence to IPC standards, ISO 9001/13485/AS9100 (as applicable), and internal quality systems.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or Business (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in PCB fabrication or electronics manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a project/program management role.
- Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing processes including inner layer imaging, lamination, drilling, plating, solder mask, surface finishes, etc. this includes base material knowledge and working with purchasing on orders, lead times, and alternative options through engineering.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to interface effectively with customers and technical teams.
- Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Bacon, ProCIM, Open order reporting, milestones or similar).
- Familiarity with IPC-2221/2222, IPC-A-600, and IPC-6012 is a strong plus.
- PMP certification is a plus but not required.
- Experience managing military, aerospace, or medical PCB programs. High reliability spectrum products and requirements.
- Familiarity with DFM/DFA principles and CAM software tools (e.g., Genesis, Valor).
- Experience in rapid prototyping and high-mix/low-volume environments.
