Role Overview
We are looking for a talented, experienced, and highly motivated Technical Account Manager who will support the Demand Partnerships team in optimizing and growing our key Property & Casualty (P&C) advertiser relationships. This role oversees partner technical integrations, data analysis, and day-to-day campaign operations on our proprietary advertising platform. The ideal candidate comes from a programmatic ad operations or trafficking role and is comfortable working with digital media advertisers in a fast-paced setting. In addition, the ideal candidate has an analytical mindset and the ability to work closely with multiple internal business teams. Candidates must be self-starters and able to thrive in an agile, fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Understand partner KPIs and perform analysis to recommend campaign optimizations to internal team members and directly to partners.
- Proactively identify optimization opportunities through open-ended account review and open-ended data analysis. Compile, analyze, and interpret performance data to optimize advertiser campaigns. Resolve partner issues efficiently and proactively.
- Provide support for all new product initiatives and recommend new platform features based on advertiser feedback and internal requirements.
- Assist in the creation of business performance reviews for partners, including quarterly business reviews.
- Establish trusted working relationships with team members and develop a strong understanding of the company’s organization, operations, best practices and formal/informal processes for allocating resources.
- Implement and monitor partner integrations, including data passing, performance imports, and real-time bidding connections.
- Serve as a platform expert, advising partners and internal teams on best practices and configuration.
- Provide a point of view on product improvements based on ticket patterns, partner feedback, and data.
- Have a holistic, high-level understanding of how the company’s advertising products and technologies fit into the overall online advertising ecosystem, consumer journey, and a client’s overall marketing portfolio and plan.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical account management, ad operations, or trafficking in online advertising.
- Experience in performance-based marketing, ideally in a programmatic environment.
- Expertise in implementing API integrations
- Knowledge of the insurance industry and ecosystem is preferred.
- Strong Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data manipulation).
- Strong knowledge of relevant industry KPIs.
- Strong client-service orientation within performance marketing.
- Capacity to think critically and creatively to synthesize large datasets.
- Ability to be a self-starter and manage multiple competing priorities in a dynamic startup environment.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple client needs.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a client-first mindset.
- Ability to utilize industry knowledge and insights gained across multiple clients to inform account management strategy and priorities and recommendations to clients.
- Obsessive attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn, drive to improve, and a willingness to make mistakes.
- Ability to articulate and communicate clearly, concisely, and thoughtfully, particularly with written communications across various teams.
Compensation & Benefits
