Key Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Deliver merchandise and supplies to company stores meeting schedule and standards set by the company.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting and supporting the store with any requirements that will benefit a potential sale.
  • Assure the proper documentation is obtained before departing the Distribution Center.
  • Perform a daily preventive maintenance on vehicle before departing to any job assignment.
  • Delivers and unloads merchandise, supplies, and fixtures to the stores, obtaining the proper signatures and completing all required documentation.
  • Performs all functions in compliance with the DOT regulations and company safety rules.
  • Accepts returns from stores, completing appropriate paperwork and returns product to the Distribution Center.
  • Places product in designated area with proper documentation.
  • Addresses and resolves store problems as appropriate.
  • Informs lead or manager of any issues that may have occurred and affected the delivery process.
  • Maintains cleanliness of vehicles and report any maintenance problem to lead or manager.
  • Works on special projects or events when scheduled

Qualifications

Your experience brings:

  • Ability to perform all essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
  • Experience in driving a 24 ft bobtail truck equipped with airbrakes.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license for no less than 3 years.
  • Ability to use and operate all warehouse equipment.
  • Must have a clean driving record with no moving violations.
  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Must obtain a California Driver License (Class C).
  • Ability to work in a high paced/high volume environment.
  • Must have ability to work safely and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Able to effectively use common office equipment.
  • Ability to reprioritize projects frequently.
  • Must have ability to multitask.
  • Independent, self-motivated, team player.
  • Able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and management.

 


Education & Experience

  • 3 years of Valid California Driver’s License.
  • High School Diploma required
  • 1-2 years delivery experience preferred.

 


Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Ability to sit, stand, and operate business equipment.
  • Must be able to walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and move up to 70lbs.
  • Typical office environment with low level noise exposure.
  • Typical warehouse environment which lacks climate control.

Compensation

Hourly Range: $19- $23
Final offer will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications.


What to Expect

Schedule: Full-time role with weekday office hours; occasional evening or weekend work may be required during peak retail seasons.
Work Location: Irvine, CA — minimum of 5 days per week in-office.
