Business Systems Analyst – UCC Product Team

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm EST

Are you a talented, experienced Business Systems Analyst looking to join a dynamic, fast-paced environment that fosters collaboration, creative thinking, and innovation? At CSC, our Business Analysts are empowered members of agile development teams responsible for delivering IT solutions that directly support and drive business objectives. You will play a critical role in shaping and improving systems that support our UCC product offerings.

About the Role:
The Business Systems Analyst will partner closely with business and technical stakeholders to analyze, document, and translate requirements into actionable user stories and solutions. You will work within agile scrum teams on large-scale projects and continuous system improvements focused on delivering business value and enhancing end-user experience. This role requires strong analytical skills, business process expertise, and the ability to lead and influence diverse stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, validate, and document detailed business and functional requirements, mapping them to robust technical solutions.
  • Develop user stories, UI mock-ups/prototypes, workflows, process diagrams, and other deliverables to clearly communicate requirements to development teams.
  • Lead story grooming sessions, sprint planning, and facilitate agile ceremonies within a fast-paced scrum team environment.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners to assist in backlog prioritization and ensure alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with stakeholders at all levels, providing ongoing best practice guidance and ensuring successful adoption of delivered solutions.
  • Design and produce training plans and “train the trainer” documentation to support change management initiatives and smooth solution roll-outs.
  • Lead or participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), gathering feedback and ensuring continuous improvement through iterative delivery.
  • Provide subject matter expert support during solution implementation and change management processes.
  • Facilitate retrospectives to evaluate project success and gather stakeholder feedback for future enhancements.
  • Monitor ongoing system adoption by end-users, identifying and driving opportunities for business process improvements.
  • Stay updated with new technology or product releases and leverage applicable innovations to enhance solutions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
 

Technical Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience performing business analysis focused on business process improvements and software development within complex environments.
  • Experience in Financial Services domains such as UCC, Real Estate, or Motor Vehicles is highly desirable.
  • Strong expertise in analyzing and refining business processes, with the ability to transition from current state to desired future state effectively.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to technical teams, business leaders, and clients at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with changing requirements.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to evolving business needs.
  • Experience working within Scrum or other agile methodologies is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS or MS) strongly preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience facilitating meetings, workshops, and collaborative sessions to drive consensus and deliverables.
