Network Technician bei FirstHealth of the Carolinas, Inc.

The Network Technician is an entry level position that contributes to the overall function and stability of the data and voice network environment for FirstHealth of the Carolinas. Accountable for performing day-to-day system administrative functions in an efficient manner. The Network Technician will work with technical staff, IS management and key personnel from other departments to identify, develop, implement and support cost-effective data and voice network solutions for all aspects of the organization.

No prior work experience in networking or Voice over IP is required. Knowledge of TCP/IP required. Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the existing (or similar) networking equipment, including Cisco routers, switches, IOS, LAN, WLAN, WAN, security management, Unified Communications, VoIP, IP PBX, ITP, and CIPVS systems. Other related Information Systems experience is also preferred.

Two-year degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent experience required. Training in Cisco voice, data or security systems preferred.
