Job Description
Help shape the future of iconic food brands like The Swiss Colony, The Wisconsin Cheeseman and The Tender Filet as a key member of the food merchandising team. We're looking for a passionate and creative Merchandising Associate to support product development, catalog strategy, and assortment planning across our food businesses. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop Product Assortments: Create seasonal product lineups that align with brand strategies, including internal development, vendor selection and collaboration with internal teams in our Bakery and Cheese Operations departments.
• Manage Catalogs: Build and organize catalog assortments, negotiate product placement, and ensure accurate presentation of product details.
• Drive Strategy: Use data and market insights to shape category strategies that support growth and customer engagement.
• Support Merchandising Operations: Maintain product data, assist with sampling and development, and collaborate across teams to ensure quality and consistency.

Qualifications
We need a curious, detail-driven professional with a passion for food, merchandising and creating memorable customer experiences. We’re looking for someone that thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys turning data and trends into smart product decisions. In addition, we are looking for:
• 1+ years Relevant Experience: Merchandising, retail buying or planning, marketing, product development or quality assurance, ideally in the food or gifting industry.
• Analytical Mindset: Skilled at interpreting performance metrics and customer data to guide assortment planning and pricing strategies.
• Creative Thinking: Ability to design compelling product offerings and packaging that resonate with customers.
• Detail Orientation: Strong organizational skills and accuracy in managing product data, reviewing copy, and coordinating catalog layouts.
• Collaboration Skills: Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors to bring products to market.
• Communication Skills: Clear and confident communicator, able to convey product benefits and merchandising strategies effectively.
• Customer Focus: A genuine interest in food and gifting, with a strong sense of what delights and engages customers.
