District Enrollment & Student Services Specialist
Reports to: Director of Teaching and Learning
Position Overview:
The District Registrar & Curriculum Building Secretary plays a vital role in supporting student enrollment, data integrity, and administrative operations across the district. This position serves as the primary point of contact for families enrolling in the district, maintains accurate student records, supports curriculum-related clerical tasks, and ensures compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines. The role also includes aiding in the transition from PowerSchool to Infinite Campus SIS, maintaining McKinney-Vento documentation, and providing general data entry and maintenance support.
Essential Responsibilities
Enrollment & Registration
- Serve as the lead contact for student enrollment, withdrawal, and transfer processes (K–12).
- Guide families through registration, ensuring a welcoming and compliant experience.
- Verify and process required documents (e.g., residency, custody, immunization, birth certificates).
- Maintain accurate student records in the SIS and ensure timely updates.
- Inform school personnel of student status changes to support accurate reporting.
Student Information System (SIS) Transition
- Support the district’s transition from PowerSchool to Infinite Campus SIS.
- Assist with data migration, system setup, and staff training as needed.
- Ensure data integrity throughout the transition process.
McKinney-Vento Coordination
- Serve as the primary contact for McKinney-Vento eligible students and families.
- Maintain documentation and coordinate services in compliance with federal requirements.
- Collaborate with school and district staff to support students experiencing homelessness.
Curriculum Building Support
- Provide clerical and administrative support for Director of Student Services and Director of Teaching and Learning, including assisting with scheduling, file management, and communication.
Data Management & Reporting
- Generate reports and analyze enrollment trends for district planning.
- Provide accurate data for compliance needs.
- Ensure confidentiality and legal compliance in all data handling.
Administrative & Clerical Support
- Respond to high volumes of inquiries from families, staff, and external agencies.
- Provide administrative assistance to the Director of Student Services and other district leaders.
- Assist with audits, compliance reviews, and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in a school or district office setting preferred.
- Experience with PowerSchool and/or Infinite Campus preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Bilingual skills preferred; differential pay available for translation services.
- Proficiency in standard office equipment and software.

Pay:
$23/hour + differential pay for translation services
