Manager Group EHS (m/f/d)
To strengthen our team, we are looking for an internationally experienced and committed Manager Group EHS (m/f/d) who will take responsibility for coordinating and monitoring health, safety, and environmental issues as well as regulatory compliance within the group of companies.
Your Tasks:
- Developing and communicating overarching EHS strategies, guidelines, and goals for all locations worldwide
- Coordinating with local EHS managers to ensure consistent implementation of internal and external requirements and regulations throughout the group of companies
- Analyzing and evaluating aggregated data from all locations to identify trends, areas for improvement, and best practices
- Conducting group-wide EHS training and awareness programs to standardize knowledge and practices
- Conducting investigations into major incidents, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and effective implementation of corrective measure
- Representing the company in group-wide interactions with authorities, stakeholders, and industry associations on EHS issues
- Benchmarking and integrating industry best practices and new technologies to continuously improve EHS within the group
- Helping to shape and establish group-wide environmental and sustainability initiatives, from waste management to reducing the carbon footprint
- Providing guidelines and standards to enable excellence and verify compliance with legal requirements for the international network of sites with regard to occupational and process safety and environmental protection within the framework of the integrated management system
- Supporting local EHS managers at the sites in developing the right policies, processes, and facilities to ensure that growth in production volume is accompanied by the right measures to keep EHS performance on track
- Advising the sites in the event of changes in legislatio
Your Profile:
- Degree in environmental sciences, engineering, health and safety management, or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in EHS management, ideally in an international organization
- In-depth knowledge of local, national, and international EHS regulations and standards
- Strong analytical skills and experience in evaluating and interpreting data
- Very good communication skills in English, both verbal and written; German would be an advantage
- Ability to coordinate and motivate teams across multiple locations
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing and promoting cultural change in EHS practices
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and the use of technologies for HSE management.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist) are an advantage.
