Your new responsibilities

  • Topic: Improving color consistency in photography using spectral ambient light sensors for automated white balancing
  • Methods: Development and comparison of various algorithms for image optimization
  • Objective: System optimization to enhance white balancing in camera images using spectral ambient light sensors and digital image processing

Focus areas:
•    Image Pipeline Development
•    Literature Review & Algorithm Integration
•    Data Collection & Scene Design
•    Sensor Simulation & Optimization
•    Performance Evaluation


Who we are looking for


  • Successfully completed studies (Master) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field
  • Strong background in linear algebra, image processing, computer vision, and machine learning
  • Experience with Python, MATLAB, or similar tools for data analysis and modeling
  • Knowledge about camera systems, color science, or sensor technologies is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Fluent English language skills, German is an advantage
