The Distribution Allianz Insurance (DAI) team at Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI) acts as the central client interface for Allianz/Allianz Investment Management (AIM), AllianzGI’s largest institutional client. DAI focuses on delivering sustainable asset management solutions and continuously enhancing service quality. As an intern, you will support client relationship management, operational account handling, and project coordination within a cross-border team and functional organization.

This internship is based in Paris. The position is to be filled as of 1st January 2026 for a duration of 6 months.

What you will do

• Assist Account Managers with client-facing activities, including meeting preparation, data analysis and sourcing, and verifying information
• Contribute to cross-functional projects, such as implementing new managed mandates or funds across the asset management value chain, harmonizing operational activities, coordinating new business initiatives, and supporting ESG-related topics
• Support day-to-day client requests and business activities in close collaboration with team members and other AllianzGI functions
• Proactively identify and implement tools to streamline, automate, and simplify team workflows.

What you bring

• Ongoing higher education in a French Master’s program (Bac+5) or equivalent in business, economics, finance, or engineering
• Strong enthusiasm for learning and contributing meaningfully
• Proactive, hands-on mindset with a focus on execution
• Interest in transforming innovative ideas into tangible outcomes
• Proven competence in project management
• Proficient in Office 365, particularly Excel
• Skilled in crafting effective AI prompts and eager to share best practices with the team
• Fluent in both English and French
• Self-motivated and committed to delivering high-quality work
• Excellent interpersonal, intercultural, and relationship management skills.
