Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of older Australians? We’re looking for a proactive and compassionate Operations Manager to join our dedicated team.
Reporting to the Vic State Manager, as Operations Manager, you will drive operational performance, implement business support initiatives, and contribute to strategic growth. Leading the Service Delivery, Admin and Rostering teams, you will ensure effective workforce deployment, successful shift fulfilment, and an outstanding customer experience. This role is hands-on, requiring strong leadership across people, processes, and performance to deliver results and build workforce capacity in line with business goals.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and support the Service Delivery Lead, Admin, and Rostering teams to build a responsive, high-performing workforce
- Oversee daily operations with a focus on efficient rostering, resource allocation, and service delivery
- Monitor and apply financial and performance KPIs to drive productivity and identify areas for improvement
- Manage customer feedback and escalations in relation to service delivery, ensuring timely resolution and high service standards
- Review and improve systems and processes within your area of responsibility to support efficiency and growth
- Maintain a customer-focused rostering approach that minimises shift cancellations and supports workforce utilisation
Let’s talk about you
- Experience in Community Care, Rostering or Service Delivery, with a strong understanding of operational workflows in these sectors.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, including staff development and performance oversight.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail, initiative, and adaptability in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Customer-focused approach with a track record of meeting targets and deadlines.
- Advanced PC and IT literacy, including MS Office and recruitment or workforce management systems.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Mandatory Requirements
- A current National Police Check (ACIC accredited) less than 6 months old, stating suitability to work in aged care or with vulnerable persons.
