This role will lead our Portfolio Management team in Western Australia (please note this is a Perth only role). You will work actively with Commercial Bank distribution leaders to manage high-value, complex connections. You will apply Commercial and risk management principles and set risk appetite to support growth and the retention of the existing customer base.
You will be part of the customer relationship and journey, acting in the best interest of our customers, making sound decisions that comply with policies and standards and, by acting when the standards are not met to put things right in a timely and consistent way.
As an inspirational leader, you will develop a team of technical experts that provide portfolio insights, influencing policy and risk appetite. You will embed and drive employee commitment to the vision and strategy of the Group and business, achieving a high-performing team with defined career pathways, retention, and succession planning.
What do I need?
- Demonstrated experience developing a risk culture
- Extensive experience in financial services, ideally within banking.
- Proven track record in managing complex portfolios
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and leadership skill with demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams.
