About Our Role

We’re seeking an accomplished Category and Revenue Manager to join our Baking and Bakery business to lead the development of the Category & Revenue Management agenda through application of consumer, shopper and business insights

Based in South Yarra and reporting to the Head of Sales, the Category & Revenue Manager will lead growth, profitability, and key strategic initiatives both our branded and private label portfolio’s.

About You

To excel in this role, you will have:

  • Developed and executed category growth strategies that optimise product range, pricing, and distribution to deliver sustainable profitability and market share growth.
  • Analysed and presented market trends, shopper insights, and competitor activity to identify opportunities
  • Provided data-driven recommendations on category & Revenue Management priorities and strategies by brand, subcategory, and retailer, in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
  • Driven key aspects of the commercial plan, including the development and compliance of promotional activities (with financial modelling), ensuring clear communication across cross-functional teams
  • Analysed pricing and promotional strategies to optimise market performance while meeting internal objectives.
  • Overseen monthly reporting, facilitate cross-functional collaboration sessions, and manage key data relationships.
  • Partnered with key retail accounts to drive category performance through joint business planning and tailored initiatives.
  • Built strong relationships with key customers and retailers, providing expert insights to support both their goals and the business objectives.
  • Supported the assessment of new product development opportunities by leveraging available data sources in partnership with the Marketing team.
  • Overseen product portfolio strategy, including new product launches, brand and category prioritisation, and lifecycle management.
  • Leveraged insights to guide strategy for category or segment expansion and define priorities within the overall portfolio.
  • Taken ownership of the data budget, working with agencies to maximise ROI on all data investments.
