Location: Washington, DC (Ward 5 and Ward 8 Campuses)
Reports to: Director of Operations

Position Overview:
The Manager of Information Systems will oversee the development, integration, and management of key educational and enterprise technology platforms (including Schoology, Clever, IXL, and others). This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and a commitment to supporting our staff and learners through technology.
The position is on-site at both Ward 5 (NE) and Ward 8 (SE) campuses, providing direct in-person support. After the first 60 days, employees are eligible for hybrid remote work options.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage, configure, and optimize multiple academic and enterprise platforms.

Ensure interoperability, secure data flow, and system documentation.

Lead IT projects aligned with AoH’s strategic growth.

Provide Tier 2 support and training for staff across campuses.

Partner with leadership to assess technology needs and implement improvement plans.

Manage vendor relationships and project deliverables.
Qualifications
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Educational Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum 2 years managing multiple platforms with proven success in system integration.

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience in nonprofit, education, or mission-driven environments preferred.

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
