JOB SUMMARY:
Provides administrative support to the Education Director. Handle a variety of tasks, including data entry, recordkeeping, communication, and program support.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Manage general typing, copying, scanning, and faxing of correspondence.
- Maintain an organized filing system for Preschool records (opening and closing files as needed).
- Generate monthly student attendance reports for the Manhattan site
- Scan attendance sheets for monthly export to the preschool accountant.
- Collect absence notes and determine the validity of excuses.
- Update ETO, PRE-K Rider and Royal Imaging Software.
- Maintain weekly checklists and bus routes, assisting with the busing process.
- Prepare monthly population and lunch count reports, maintaining lunch forms.
- Translate correspondence for agencies and intake summaries for the Department of Education.
- Cover for the Intake Department when necessary.
- Perform other assigned duties as defined and directed by the Education Director
Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma and a minimum of one year experience in a similar secretarial role.
