Job Title:

Maintenance Crew

Pay Details:

The starting hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour.

The Maintenance Crew is responsible for performing maintenance duties for resolving building-related problems and/or service requests.  This position reports directly to the Manager of Facilities at Great Park Ice.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all facets of interior and exterior facility maintenance

• Maintain and prioritize maintenance software to maximize efficiency and effectiveness

• Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly preventative maintenance checklists

• Complete regular facility safety walkthroughs and report back to Facilities Manager

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair maintenance-related issues/equipment

• Reconcile work orders submitted by rink management and adjacent entities

• Promote industry best practices, safety standards, and a clean work environment

• Report maintenance items to the Facilities Manager and communicate with neighboring departments

• Assist with Zamboni maintenance, ice maintenance, and refrigeration checklists to maximize efficiency

• Perform plumbing, electrical, acoustical, and cleaning duties as required

• Work with outside contractors/vendors on miscellaneous projects and facility upkeep

• Participate in weekly/biweekly maintenance meetings and attend company Power Play training sessions

• Assist with the breakdown/set up of various events and ice rink conversions

• Maintain exceptional internal and external guest service

• Responsible for flooring and carpet repair and restoration

• Responsible for painting and maintenance of interior and exterior capital assets

• Responsible for pressure washing and for general upkeep of exterior flat work

• Maintain maintenance rooms and areas to a high standard for safety and state code

• Maintain professional attitude and composure with Anaheim Ducks staff

• Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Skills

• Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar commercial maintenance setting

• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, acoustical, and mechanical troubleshooting

• Knowledge of common industry practices and equipment

• General understanding of water filtration system

• Attention to detail and organization

• Scissor lift, forklift, boom lift, and Zamboni certifications are a plus

• Skilled with various hand and power tools

• Excellent follow-through and communication skills

• Energetic, self-motivated, and eager to learn new operating procedures

• Able to work with diverse teams with specific needs

• Able to lift up to 75lbs.

• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Education - High School Diploma or Equivalent
