About the role

Prepares financial statements, maintains financial records and schedules, and reconciles accounts for the Illinois Farm Bureau (IFB), Board of Directors and assigned affiliates. Assists with budget preparation and financial reporting.

How does this role make an impact?

- Prepares, analyzes and distributes monthly financial statements for IFB and affiliates, ensuring transactions have been correctly posted and the statements accurately reflect respective financial positions.- Assists in the preparation of Board reports. Researches and investigates financial variances for monthly fluctuation analysis.- Prepares annual budget for IFB and affiliates. Develops and maintains computer applications to support budget processes.- Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual reports, financial forecasts, cash flows and other reports as assigned.- Supports other areas of payroll and accounting as needed.- Assists in the preparation of work papers for annual external audits and tax returns. Assists with internal audits as needed.

Do you have what we're looking for?

Typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training. - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred for higher-level roles.

Base Pay Range:

$72,000-$99,000

The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired. Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience.

Incentive Pay:

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Short-Term Incentive plan.
