Ontic is a leading global aerospace OEM trusted by the world’s aviation leaders. Ontic’s Chatsworth, CA, site specializes in precision engineering, MRO, and new solutions for parts at risk of obsolescence. With over 1,400 employees across four time zones and nine sites, we have more than doubled in size since 2019 and are continuing to grow at pace. 

Our team is looking for a Head of Programs to join them. You will report to the Business Unit Director and will have an onsite work structure in Chatsworth, CA. 

To be considered for the Head of Programs opening, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you: 

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or science.
• 10+ years of program/project management experience in a technical/engineering background.
• 5+ years of production planning in a fast-paced environment desired.
• 3+ years of P&L experience.
• MRP/ERP systems familiarity.

As a Head of Programs, you will: 

• Manage, mentor, and train a team of 10+ Program Managers primarily focused on new and ongoing product lines to ensure quality products are delivered on time to the customer.
• Mentor Program Managers to assist them in identifying, managing, and optimizing strategies to drive profitability and execute to the P&L.
• Close work with the cross-functional departments, including engineers, quality, operations, contracts, finance, etc., in a collaborative way to achieve company goals.
• Assist department with tactical duties of planning, organizing, leading, and controlling Ontic programs/initiatives, short- and long-term organizational plans, budgets, personnel, and functions in licensing and manufacturing aviation legacy product.
• Be able to interpret the applicable policies and procedures and make enhancements.  
• Drive successful new project closure and hand-off to functional department.

Compensation Pay Range

$145,000-$165,000/year, based on experience
