The Parks Hand Crew employee will be an essential member of Woodward Park City's Parks and Slope Maintenance team, reporting to the Parks Supervisor at Woodward Park City. The successful applicant will support build and maintenance efforts to create reasonably safe, innovative, and consistent terrain produced by the Slope Maintenance team while safely operating and maintaining assigned parks.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Support internal and external build teams with innovative problem-solving
Assist in maintenance, repairs, and construction of parks.
Support the Snowmaking plan.
Install and maintain Terrain Park signage, closures, trail markings, fencing, and banners.
Supply quality and productive feedback to the team.
Conduct daily safety and maintenance checks of parks and innovative environments.
Complete daily logs
Safely operate the equipment assigned
Understand and communicate "Your Responsibility Code" and "Smart Style" to guests.
Daily trash and debris pick up and removal.
Report injuries to ski patrol and assist when needed. Help secure the site.
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and learn new skills.
Support operations as needed.
Basic Requirements:
Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50 lbs.
Must be comfortable working in an outdoor all-season environment.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Ability to work overnight shifts.
Ability to ski/snowboard to locations on the mountain as needed.
Due to the sensitive nature of this position, a criminal background check will be conducted after a position is accepted.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
1-2 ski area operations experience
1-2 years of freestyle terrain experience
Basic understanding of snowmaking
Proven ability to collaborate well across functions and departments, work as part of a team, and lead teams in achieving goals.
