Your Responsibilities
As an EDI/SAP Project Lead for John Deere Kernersville, you will:
- Lead and deliver projects focused on EDI and SAP Central Parameters, ensuring successful implementation and process alignment
- Provide guidance to suppliers and internal teams on proper EDI/SAP setup, functionality, and ongoing system management
- Drive continuous improvement by integrating EDI and SAP technologies into supply chain processes and identifying optimization opportunities
- Develop and maintain training materials, process documentation, and performance metrics to support staff and ensure consistency
- Manage all EDI-related functions for JDK and JDSP factories, including supplier onboarding and alignment with Deere Supplier Agreements.
- Serve as a consultant and liaison between John Deere Kernersville and third-party EDI providers, including performance monitoring and issue resolution
- Support Supply Management in developing Supplier Corrective Actions related to EDI and contribute to special projects as assigned

- Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated growth mindset and ability to build relationships and influence without authority
- Strong time management, organization, and planning skills
- 2 or more years project management experience
- 2 or more years' experience working with different business functions such as: accounting, engineering, quality, manufacturing, operations, supply management, marketing, HR, IT, customer support, and product support
What Makes You Stand Out
- 1 or more year of Information Technology experience in the definition, development and deployment of complex business applications
- Cross functional work exp in multiple areas, i.e., Accounting, Product Eng, Quality, Manufacturing Ops, Warehousing/ Distribution, Production employee supervision, Supply mgmt, Marketing, HR, Industrial Eng, etc. (Experience in two areas)
- Project management experience. (Small projects)
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Management, Information Technology, or equivalent related work experience
