Become a Senior Manager, Outage Communications at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. This job places you in a key role leading strategy and oversight for outage notifications, communications, education, and compliance. You’ll lead responsive communications during escalated and emergency outages, while fostering collaboration across organizations to improve customer experience. Key responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance, managing outreach campaigns, driving process improvements, overseeing budgets and vendor relationships, supporting IT integration, and maintaining emergency response readiness. You will also be a key stakeholder with SCE Business Resiliency objectives and may, from time to time, represent the company in regulatory compliance proceedings and state level initiatives geared towards Outage Communications and best practices.

Responsibilities
- Develops and implements business operating plans which align with Operating Unit or enterprise business strategy and short, medium-term objectives
- Develops and implements business operations risk management strategies
- Leads the prioritization of strategic planning scenarios which effectively address business challenges while successfully achieving operational performance metrics
- Defines business metrics, evaluate impact of new and existing initiatives, and initiate and implement changes to improve ongoing operations
- Administers projects including planning, strategizing, coordination, implementation and quality control
- Designs project management systems/tools to facilitate work processes, records management, and communications
- Oversees the undertaking of data gathering for the development of strategies based upon the market
- Oversees the allocation of resources, ensures delivery of sufficient support to a business function
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience supervising a team of direct reports and/or project management.
- Leading business operations analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting emergency operations and response, with demonstrated knowledge of Incident Management training frameworks.
- Project management experience with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Experience delivering technical presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive and senior leadership.
- Proven ability to manage and resolve escalated customer complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- Demonstrated success working with and influencing cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
