Currently, we are looking to add a Case Manager/Paralegal to our Social Security Disability (SSD) team to help develop and move Disability cases to a favorable resolution under the supervision of an Attorney and with support from Legal Assistants. In the role, you will be guiding clients through the disability process, gathering all relevant paperwork/records, and submitting all necessary items to the Social Security Administration. Stellar customer service and attention to detail are vital.
Some of the key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serving as the client's primary point of contact for all questions, needs, and updates on the case.
- Project managing the case from start to finish, keeping things moving and resolving delays.
- Keeping detailed notes of (1) all case-related phone and email contact and (2) tasks performed.
- Obtaining evidence to support the client’s case by collecting and submitting any pertinent paperwork that is vital to the case.
- Assisting the Attorney by preparing the client’s case file for hearing and notifying them of any case-related developments and/or problems.
- Gathering applicable updates and filing necessary appeals.

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- College Degree (Associate/BS/BA) and/or successful paralegal or case management experience preferred.
