A wonderful mother in Westminster (in Downtown, near the Alamo Drafthouse) is seeking a consistent, monthly babysitter for her energetic, fun-loving 2.5-year-old son. She is looking for a reliable caregiver, who can help when needed, in the evenings, weekends, and occasional overnights.

Length of position: Ongoing, long-term
Typical Hours:
- Weekday evenings: 5:00 PM – 10:00/11:00 PM
- Weekends: 3–5 hours (Sunday mornings or afternoons, occasional Saturday mornings, after overnights on Fridays)
- Occasional overnights
- Advanced Notice: Minimum 1 week, occasional ad hoc requests
- Care will be needed 2 to 4 times per month
- Upcoming known need: October 11th evening, 6:00 PM – 10:00/11:00 PM
Rate: $30/hour
- Plus gas reimbursement when driving is needed (on occasion)
1 Child: 2.5 year old, boy
Responsibilities
- Follow family guidelines, daily schedule, and discipline style
- Prepare and serve dinner
- Play and engage with child (outdoor play, splash pad, walks, he loves to ride his strider bike)
- Bedtime routine (brush teeth, pajamas, reading, singing, child typically asleep by 8 PM)
- Overnight care when needed, including comfort if he wakes and occasional milk requests
- Morning care when applicable (breakfast, dressing, play)
- Weekend care (Saturday mornings or Sunday mornings/afternoons)
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with toddlers/preschool-age children
- CPR certified or willing to become certified
- Must pass background check, social media check, and provide two childcare-related references
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and proof of insurance (MVR check required)
- Must be reliable, consistent, and willing to follow parenting guidelines
- Comfortable with occasional overnights and backup sick care
- On occasion, pick up from daycare (8 minutes away) and drive child home
Preferred (not required):
- Own vehicle with car seat available
- Provide care when child is sick and home from daycare
Compensation + Benefits
This position pays $30/hour. Hours vary: evenings, weekends, occasional overnights. On average 2–4 times per month, with potential for additional hours as needed
- Gas reimbursement for when driving is needed.
