Key Responsibilities
Lifting 50 lbs. multiple times each shift is required to complete daily tasks.
Essential Job Duties
- Ensure exact measurements for dough mixes are used according to standard recipe.
- Monitor wrapper machines for consistent quality
- Prepare machines and materials for production.
- Responsible for Pre-Op and Post-Op Sanitation.
- Maintain effective communication with other leads, supervisors, and management
- Report any food safety and/or quality issues to Production Manager immediately.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. This includes wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety training programs.
- In the absence of Wrapper Dough Mixer, Wrapper Supervisor will cover his/her responsibilities.
- Identify and troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and assist maintenance personnel when necessary. Report major equipment issues to the supervisor.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Familiarity with dough machines and their operation.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
- English language preferred
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; one to two years’ experience
- Experience with Food and Beverage industry preferred
- Sweep floor, wash the trays, tables, wash carts, short simple conveyor, squeegee the water off the floor, throw out garbage.
- While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee must be able to access all equipment of the workstation and other areas as needed. Frequent lifting, bending and twisting. Lifting 50 lbs. multiple times each shift is required to complete daily tasks.
- Ingredient Weight Operators work in a fast-paced and noisy production environment. The work may involve standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and repetitive tasks. Van’s Kitchen is a food manufacturing environment. You will be working in warm and cold conditions, in wet and dry environments with potentially dangerous equipment.
